Survive the Foodpocalypse This Sunday in Fremont! Fun Tips To Navigate & Enjoy

It’s almost here and we want t0 make sure you have a great deal of fun! Fremont is known as the Center of the Universe with the largest Oktoberfest, Zombie Walk and one hell of a Solstice Parade! This weekend it’s all about the invasion of the foodies.

We are gearing up for this Sundays Mobile Food Rodeo with 35 gourmet food trucks and this year its FREE ADMISSION!

YES THERE WILL BE LINES! But don’t sweat it, we have everything you need to know to navigate and lessen any frustration and eat from as  many trucks!

This year, we made ADMISSION FREE, added MORE TRUCKS, a charity beer garden, Zagat Lounge and tons of local music and more; you can expect to have a great time. Here are some tips to getting the best experience at a major food truck rally:

1) Be Strategic & Pick Your Trucks of Choice: Check out the trucks you want to try ahead of time by looking at our lineup on the Mobile Food Rodeo website. This way you don’t miss out on your favorites. We recommend either printing out the event map OR saving it as an image on your cell phone for later reference.

2) Divide and Conquer: Come to the Rodeo with your friends, decide what you want from the trucks of choice, then split up and wait in line at separate trucks. When you get back together, sit and have a beer in the Skillet Beer Yard or by the great view of the Fremont Canal enjoy multiple tastes from multiple places. It’s the best way to try the most tasty food trucks.

3) Take the Bus: Seattle Public Transit will escort you directly to Fremont for $2.50 from almost any neighborhood. Here is a link for your travels!  Don’t live in the seattle area? Drive in, and then bus to Fremont.

After all, parking is FREE on Sundays. And lastly, if you want to skip the parking or bussing all together check out our VIF offer which includes a FREE pick up and drop off for first time Uber riders and 50% off for returning customers.

4) Beer Garden & Live Music: This year, we are giving you more entertainment throughout the event and yes it is all free. Grab your food and pace yourself and make a pit stop to the beer garden. Skillet Street Food will be inside the beer garden all day long, so grab a beer while you wait in line.

Premium beverages on tap include New Belgium, Heineken, Blue Moon, and Coors Light!

Happy Tasting Foodies!
