Four Neighborhoods Loosen Their Belts to Prepare for Mobile Mini Lunch Events

The Mobile Food Rodeo is back and our plans for 2012 sound irresistibly delicious. Before we get to announcing the dates of our big events, let’s share the exciting news about our new lunch events invading a few new hoods this year!

This year, we kick off their Mobile “Mini” Lunch Corral that will take your favorite local food trucks to make a pit stop in some of Seattle’s top neighborhoods throughout the year of the entire year for a three hour stint starting in early March. Each event will 10 food trucks  to feed the lunch crowds.

Best part is the lunch events are free to the public, you just gotta support the food trucks! Communities involved include Pioneer Square, Fremont, South Lake Union, and Bellevue.

Ryan Reiter, Founder and Chief Food Marshal  has an office in Fremont and eats at Marination Station every Wednesday, setting up shop right in front of his office, explaining “Given that companies like Google, Getty, and Adobe are located in the hood, it makes sense to have a big event on select Fridays for the masses to munch on”.
The 2012 dates will be announced on Seattle Met’s Nosh Pit Blog next Monday, so get ready for some serious eating, with news and updates starting next week. Catch them on Facebook and Twitter.
