Meet the Judges: Sweet Tooth Queen Jennifer Shea & TableTalks’ Jamie Peha Saddle Up for the Rodeo!

The big event may be a week and half away with plenty of hungry tummies growling all over Facebook and Twitter these days with anticipation! So just when you thought that our judging contest couldn’t get any more delicious, we decided to add a few more experts to help us judge this year’s Seattle Met Mobile Wagon Awards.

Please welcome two well known women int the foodie community for their tasty contributions! Founder of Trophy Cupcakes, Jennifer Shea and founder and host of TableTalkRadio that Tastes Good on KKNW 1150 AM with co-host and Chef in the Hat Thierry Rautureau of Rovers and LUC, Jamie Peha.

Meet Jennifer Shea, Founder of Trophy Cupcakes

Jennifer has been baking and party-making since she leveraged Grandma’s pumpkin roll recipe into 4-H wins as a little girl. As an adult, she became baker extraordinaire to her friends, cooking up desserts for countless baby showers, birthday parties, and weddings. Jennifer combined her personal and professional baking experience with a nutrition degree from Bastyr University, where she did not become a sworn enemy of sugar, but rather learned the importance of quality ingredients—a trademark that infuses her baking today.

In 2007, Jennifer and her husband Michael Williamson flipped on the vintage schoolhouse lights at the first Trophy in Wallingford Center, and Seattleites seeking a premier dessert destination lined up. Customers and press praised Jennifer’s cupcakes, and Martha Stewart lauded them as “utterly delicious.” Two additional locations (University Village and The Bravern in Bellevue), and a baby boy (Fleetwood) later, Jennifer runs around a lot these days, but can most often be found dreaming of and testing whimsical flavors like pink champagne and stroop waffle to add to her always creative and dependably delectable desserts.

Meet Jamie Peha, Founder and Host, TableTalk.

Jamie is the founder and host of TableTalk, Radio that Tastes Good on KKNW 1150 AM with co-host and Chef in the Hat Thierry Rautureau of Rovers and LUC.  The two showcase Northwest tastemakers including chefs, farmers, artisan producers, winemakers and other lifestyle professionals in a light-hearted, educational and lively format the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of each month at 8am.  Between shows the Table Talk Blog at provides an inside look at wine, restaurants, cooking, events and culinary news in the Northwest.

Jamie is a member of the International Association of Culinary Professionals and sits on the board of the Washington Wine Industry Foundation, the Auction of Washington Wines and Celebrated Chefs. She is also a member of the Seattle Chapter of Les Dames d’Escoffier International, an International organization of professional women in food, fine beverage and hospitality.
