Bigfood Spotted at the Mobile Food Rodeo!

You’ve heard about the urban myth of the mysterious food truck for months now. Some eye witnesses accounts have seen it briefly in the wild, touting as the tastiest food truck in all of Seattle.

If your anything like us foodies here at the Rodeo, you’ll want to see it in person at the Mobile food Rodeo this September in Interbay.

Heck, we already fell in love with it,  thanks to the food truck’s name that is fitting for the northwest, plus they are brand spanking new, so always a treat to get the taste buds salivating.

Bigfood is a new and exciting addition to Seattle’s growing food truck scene! Bigfood serves up slow-braised meats with Caribbean and Indian flavors and fresh slaws. this is all served on made-to-order grilled flatbread or a basmati rice bowl. Follow us on Facebook and Twitter.

About Team Bigfood

Meet Matthew & Matthew are best friends. Both originally from Illinois, they grew up in the same neighborhood, went to the same elementary school and both eventually relocated to beautiful Seattle. Thats where the similarities end. One goes by Matt, the other goes by Tyler. Matt is an award-winning designer and builder revisiting his past roots in the restaurant industry. Tyler is a chef and food stylist whose work can be seen in magazines and cookbooks. They share a passion for good food, good wine and good friends. Together, they are big fools and Bigfood.

  • Sasquatch $8 – spicy pulled pork shoulder with green mango chutney and slaw on grilled flatbread
  • Yeti $9 – braised (bigfoot) beef with curried fruit and slaw on grilled flatbread 
  • Redwood $8 – spicy paneer with red onion, pineapple and delicious cilantro sauce
  • Sequoia $8 – spicy pulled chicken on flatbread with tomato chutney and cilantro sriracha cream
