“Veni, Vidi, Vici” – You came, you saw, you conquered the Mobile Food Rodeo this past Sunday with an estimated 17,000 people in attendance throughout the day in Fremont. This year’s festival offered something for everyone from live music, charity beer garden and 37 tasty food trucks to discover. We greatly appreciate all of your support and can’t wait to invite you to our next big shindig.
The numbers are still coming in, but over 85% of the food trucks sold out yesterday and roughly $100,000 spent among the food trucks with an estimated $29,000 directly back into local businesses in the Fremont neighborhood. Thank you for supporting local (as well as being patient for your food) and making this such a fun event. We can’t wait to host Seattle’s largest Mobile Food Truck festival and now one of the largest in the Unites States.
We have some fantastic events weekly starting with the Fremont Sunday Market that plays host to five food trucks every week. Plus don’t forget to join us at this year’s largest Zombie Walk, the Red White & Dead in Fremont on Saturday, July 7th with over 12 local food trucks as Seattle defends its title for the Guinness World Record for the “Largest Zombie Walk on the Planet”. We will also feature 12 food trucks at Emerald Downs on Saturday, July 28th on the breeze way next to the beer garden.
Our next big Mobile Food Rodeo happens on Saturday, September 15th in South Lake Union with more trucks, more music and beer garden for the ultimate mobile food experience. We will release the details starting next week on our Facebook and Twitter, so be sure to follow us year round and support your local food trucks.
From the entire staff at Mobile Food Rodeo, volunteers and all of the food trucks, a sincere Thank you to all of you who came out and snacked all day!
