Just one week away from Seattle’s largest food truck festival, it’s time to prep the waist line. This weekend, the Mobile Food Rodeo’s weekly corral rounds-up four of Seattle’s top food wagon at the west end of the Fremont Sunday Market for your enjoyment!
Every week, catch staples Maximus Minimus and Tokyo Dog with a few rotating trucks every week. We welcome back the popular Skillet Street Food serving their signature Chicken and Waffles out of the airstream from 11-4pm.
This week, we have anew truck and Seattle favorite, Lumpia World owned and operated by Chef Derrick Ellis and family. This local food truck’s food offers a northwest take on the traditional Lumpia - pastries of Chinese origin similar to fresh popiah or fried spring rolls popular in Southeast Asia. We highly recommend the Ginger Pork Lumpia - Specially seasoned ground pork w/ sautéed garlic, onions and season vegetables. (Fried in vegetable oil)
Or mix it up with a seaweed sprinkled Japanese-style hotdog from Tokyo Dog with a gourmet bun, add some seaweed fries with wasabi mayo for the ultimate experience! There is something for everyone at the Market so mark you calendar for Sunday and enjoy a day in the sun.
