If you frequent the popular Ballard Farmers Market every Sunday like most of Seattle. Then you know the mobile food bliss of the Veracci ovens that deliver piping hot, gooey, slices of neopolitan-style pizza (heaven) they cook up around Seattle.
The Veracci Pizza gang first started making pizzas at the Ballard Farmer’s Market in May of 2004, then moving to the Fremont Sunday Market. But, the idea of putting a wood-fired pizza oven on a trailer took years to realize.
We are pleased to announce their participation in this year’s first annual Mobile Food Rodeo with some of the best damn pizza in Seattle and the west coast! Varacci is Seattle’s original, award-winning traveling wood-fired pizza company with mobile ovens now in Portland, Bend, Spokane & Coeur d’Alene.
Veraci Pizza features a delicious ultra-thin artisan crust made from our secret recipe. Each batch of dough is hand prepared in a mixing bowl, never by machine. They fire their gourmet pizzas with apple wood from Yakima Valley in screaming oven temperatures
around 1000 degrees. Each pizza pie is cooked in fewer than two minutes!
They use only the freshest and highest quality natural ingredients and buy direct from local farms whenever possible. All of these things combine to create the most delicious pizza you’ll ever experience.
Catch them at the Rodeo on Saturday, September 17th in Interbay.
